What is Sculpture?

A **sculpture** is a special kind of art that you can see from all sides, not just from the front like a drawing. Artists use their hands and tools to make sculptures out of many different things.

Examples:

• The artist made a beautiful **sculpture** of a bird out of clay.
• We saw a giant metal **sculpture** in the park.
• My favorite **sculpture** at the museum was a tall, shiny robot.
